Publishers handbook

Ship components to the macrocontent Store — create listings, upload validated bundles, earn a Macro Score, and sell to website teams.

Where to work
Publisher portal: publisher.macrocontent.dev. Public catalog: store.macrocontent.dev.

Publisher role

A publisher profile is tied to your Macro account (one profile per user). You sign in through central login, complete onboarding if needed, then manage listings in the portal. Buyers discover and claim/purchase components in the Store; they assign licenses to websites in the Dashboard.

End-to-end path

  1. Create a listing

Run the create wizard: identity, presentation (content vs styled), bundle, pricing, and preview assets.

  2. Validate and score

Upload a bundle. Macro runs security, structure, and runtime checks and computes a Macro Score (0–100). Failed checks block the upload.

  3. Publish to the Store

Move from draft to published (and public visibility) so buyers can install. Paid listings require active Stripe Connect.
